The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County has partnered with the Wayne County Public Library to bring the Raising a Reader program to Club members ages 6-8 and their parents.
NEWSLETTER
Raising a Reader helps families develop home-based literacy routines. Children receive three high quality multicultural books each week to bring home and parents learn how to engage in reading along with their children.

Raising a Reader is a national program whose mission is to involve parents and caregivers in a routine of book-sharing with their children to foster healthy brain development, parent-child bonding, a love of reading, and the literacy skills critical for school success.
